Structural design utilizing computer modeling and finite element
analysis of three story chemical building on reinforced concrete
foundation mat supported by drilled piers. Evaluation of 36 separate
load scenarios. Resulted in substantial cost reduction in reinforced
concrete work.
Digester Tanks, International Paper Company, Georgetown, SC:
Foundation design for reinforced concrete mat supported on drilled
piers for 200 foot high ceramic tank and stair tower. Project used
fast track construction methods.
