At
Pantech we have a department with a great deal of experience in this
exciting field. Our engineers stay intimately involved with new
techniques and tools and have even enlisted the aid of the National
Aeronautics and Space Administration in a successful search for an
exotic solution to an arcane problem. We have served for some
eight years as engineering consultant to Washington's National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), a role calculated to keep
us on the cutting edge of technology as we evaluate new inventions sent
to NIST by inventors in pursuit of grants. We have designed
automated assembly machines; tools; progressive and high precision
dies, jigs, and gages; pilot production lines; chemical process lines;
and material handling systems for various clients. Included in these
tasks are P and ID drawings, loop drawings, electrical schematics,
ladder diagrams, control panel layouts, and hydraulic/pneumatic piping
diagrams. In addition to machines, we have designed and developed many
other products, e.g., ATM enclosures and kiosks.
